Tea Witch Hobby, The Goddess Dolls and Witch Dolls I Make
About three years ago I took an amazing class with an amazing instructor Melany O'Leary, here on the North Shore of Vancouver. We did a guided meditation and then she showed us how to make our dolls. I was hooked. I love making these dolls for myself, for friends and for my monthly swaps I do through some Facebook groups I belong to. I hope you will indulge me with a look at some of the dolls I make. Since that class I have been foraging for drift wood, collecting vintage handkerchiefs and napkins, bits and bobs that call to me, found shells and purchased shells along with yarn and fibers that I make into these dolls that I just love. The faces I use a mold, or do by hand. These are all a mold. It may sound weird but each of these dolls call to me to be made, it is almost a full meditation when I work and I can tune all the things around me out and just create.
