On My Tea Table This Week, A Tea Witch's Grimoire by S.M.Harlow

 

On my table this week is a book I learned about a few weeks back through Instagram called A Tea Witch's Grimoire by S.M.Harlow. I ordered it straight away on Amazon.com because in my excitement in clicking through I ended up on the USA Site. You can find it on the Canadian link here for far less then I paid (I had to pay exchange rate and shipping) Again I am not an amazon affiliate, just a really great book.


Going through the book and absorbing the recipes for these tisanes and for potions even. I am blown away by how much information is contained in this book. My favorite section so far is the Sabbat teas, followed closely by the Moon and Horoscope Teas. 

I cant wait to make the full moon tea tomorrow for the Buck Moon. I just need to make sure I have the chickweed and coconut milk, it already sounds amazing!

Ok maybe there is to you but the comfort and nourishment these waffles bring me and others is truly something special that I would like to share. The simple act of making and preparing the recipe below shows its intention. You can change the "me" to "you" or "us" and have the same results every time. The Gift of Sight, and Managing Without It.

  The universal messages can't be ignored I have learned time and time again. I want to say that I am getting better each day but I am struggling with being side lined at the moment. First I was in constant pain for more than a year because of a miss diagnosis to my right leg, which I have been trying to just deal with for the last year, come to find that it is a bone spur and nerve damage, and I am supposed to be off it for 6 weeks, had to leave my summer job. Saturday's Fun Finds, Thrifting for Teacups

  If you are on my instagram @teawitchchornicles   you already saw my post above showing some of the teacups at one of the thrift stores I visit.  I went for a salad spinner and left with many other things.... I ended up with a (not that I needed it) New to me Ulsterweaver Teapot with Dogs on it, I love it! It was $7.99  and had never even been used. As well as a trinket dish that is made by Elizabethan Fine China, the center says Victoria British Columbia, I grabbed it for $3.99 a little more than I would have normally paid but as I am currently planning on being on Vancouver Island for Canada Day, I thought it would make a nice offering bowl with my morning photos.  One of the cups and saucers I grabbed off of another shelf full of bone china was this lovely set. It has no identifying marks but I have had one treasured cup and saucer just like it but in pinks and yellows that was hand painted and from Germany. Sadly it had a hairline crack after many won...
